Independent Traffic Action Group

I–TAG is a local community action group of voluntary members campaigning on road and traffic issues for a healthier and safer environment for the local communities. I–TAG is your action group, set up on your behalf to support and help you on all matters of traffic and road safety in the community borough of Tonbridge and Malling. The action group is driven by a front end steering team of active local people trying to improve the quality of life in our communities with respect to road and traffic related issues.

I–TAG are an independent group based in Borough Green, Kent and formed in 2006.

The projects that we have engaged in campaigning on to date are as follows:

2006 – Supporting the Borough Green Traffic Action Group (BG-TAG) in their campaign for 3 pedestrian crossings in Borough Green.

2006 – Supporting the Independent Bypass Action Group (I–BAG) in their A25 /A227 Borough Green and Platt Bypass Campaign.

2006 – Supporting the "Keep Boroughs Green (KBG)" group in their campaign against the KCC Super depot project at Wrotham Heath

2006 – Supporting the Community of local villages with regard to the Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council / Local Development Framework / Isles Quarry West Development in Borough Green

2007 – Supporting the Community of Tonbridge and Malling with regard to the gradual run down of Accident and Emergency (A&E) services at Maidstone Hospital
